Golden Bridge

** The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate strait, the mile-wide, three-mile-long channel between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean.Before the bridge was built, the only practical short route between San Francisco and what is now Marin County was by boat across a section of San Francisco Bay. **The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco,california and USA. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

==>Statue of Liberty ** The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States. The statue is of a robed female figure representing Libertas, the Roman goddess, who bears a torch and a tabula ansata (a tablet evoking the law) upon which is inscribed the date of the American Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. A broken chain lies at her feet. The statue is an icon of freedom and of the United States: a welcoming signal to immigrants arriving from abroad.

Niagara Falls

** Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States; more specifically, between the province of Ontario and the state of New York.The Horseshoe Falls lie mostly on the Canadian side and the American Falls entirely on the American side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also located on the American side, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island. ** Located on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world, with a vertical drop of more than 165 feet (50 m). Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by vertical height and also by flow rate.
** The falls are located 17 miles (27 km) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York and 75 miles (121 km) south-southeast of Toronto, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York.Niagara Falls were formed when glaciers receded at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly formed Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment en route to the Atlantic Ocean. ====>

Empire State Building

** The Empire State Building is a 102-story skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on Fifth Avenue between West 33rd and 34th Streets. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (380 m), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 feet (443 m) high.[5] Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years, from its completion in early 1931 until the topping out of the original World Trade Center's North Tower in late 1970.
** The Empire State Building is generally thought of as an American cultural icon. It is designed in the distinctive Art Deco style and has been named as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. ==>
** Yellowstone has numerous recreational opportunities, including hiking, camping, boating, fishing and sightseeing. Paved roads provide close access to the major geothermal areas as well as some of the lakes and waterfalls. During the winter, visitors often access the park by way of guided tours that use either snow coaches or snowmobiles. ====>

MetropolitanMuseum

** The Metropolitan Museum of Art, located in New York City, is the largest art museum in the United States and one of the ten largest in the world. Its permanent collection contains more than two million works, divided among seventeen curatorial departments.[8] The main building, located on the eastern edge of Central Park along Manhattan's Museum Mile, is by area one of the world's largest art galleries. There is also a much smaller second location at The Cloisters in Upper Manhattan that features medieval art.
** The Met also maintains extensive holdings of African, Asian, Oceanic, Byzantine, and Islamic arts.The museum is also home to encyclopedic collections of musical instruments, costumes and accessories, and antique weapons and armor from around the world. ====>

Times Square

** Times Square is a major commercial intersection[1] and a neighborhood in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It is located at the junction of Broadway (now converted into a pedestrian plaza) and Seventh Avenue, and stretches from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Times Square is sometimes referred to as "The Crossroads of the World".
** Times Square is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions, drawing over 39 million visitors annually. Approximately 330,000 people pass through Times Square daily, many of whom are either tourists or people working in the area. Formerly Long-acre Square, Times Square was renamed in April 1904 after The New York Times moved its headquarters to the newly erected Times Building (now called One Times Square). That building is the site of the annual ball drop on New Year's Eve ===>

White House

** The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. It has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800.The house was designed by Irish-born James Hoban. and built between 1792 and 1800 of white-painted Aquia Creek sandstone in the Neoclassical style. When Thomas Jefferson moved into the house in 1801, he (with architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe) expanded the building outward, creating two colonnades that were meant to conceal stables and storage.
** The third-floor attic was converted to living quarters in 1927 by augmenting the existing hip roof with long shed dormers. A newly constructed East Wing was used as a reception area for social events; Jefferson's colonnades connected the new wings.

Epcot

** Epcot is the second of four theme parks built at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, near the city of Orlando. It opened as EPCOT Center on October 1, 1982, and spans 300 acres, more than twice the size of the Magic Kingdom park.The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is an annual spring event taking place from March 4 to May 17, 2015 at Walt Disney World

Lincolon MemoriaL ** The Lincoln Memorial is an American national monument built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the western end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., across from the Washington Monument. It is one of several monuments built to honor an American president. It has always been a major tourist attraction and since the 1930s has been a symbolic center focused on race relations. ** The building is in the form of a Greek Doric temple and contains a large seated sculpture of Abraham Lincoln and inscriptions of two well-known speeches by Lincoln, The Gettysburg Address and his Second Inaugural Address. The memorial has been the site of many famous speeches, including Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, delivered on August 28, 1963, during the rally at the end of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Saint Isaac's Cathedral

** Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor in Saint Petersburg, Russia is the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral in the city. It is the largest orthodox basilica and the fourth largest cathedral in the world.

**Kazan Cathedral or Kazanskiy Kafedralniy Sobor, also known as the Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan, is a cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church on the Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg.

Moscow kremlin

** The Moscow Kremlin, usually referred to as the Kremlin, is a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moscow River to the south, Saint Basil's Cathedral and Red Square to the east, and the Alexander Garden to the west.

** It is most commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral, is a church in Red Square in Russia. The building, now a museum, is officially known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theosophist on the Moat.


 

** The original building, known as Trinity Church and later Trinity Cathedral, contained eight side churches arranged around the ninth, central church of Intercession; the tenth church was erected in 1588 over the grave of venerated local saint Vasily (Basil).In the 16th and 17th centuries the church, perceived as the earthly symbol of the Heaven City.

Beijing Attractions



** Beijing, the heart of China, is always the first choice of travelers who are willing to know a time-honored and developed city of China. It has been the political, economic and cultural center of China for over 800 years from the Yuan Dynasty. The numerous royal buildings with long history endow it with incomparable charm, not only the 'Nation's Best' but also the 'World's Best'. On the other hand, as the host city of the 2008 Olympic Games, this oriental ancient city presented her best fashion fascination to the world.


1.Forbidden city(museum)
---> The museum is still open to visitors during Chinese Qingming Festival holiday (April 4, 5 and 6). However, visitors are advised to avoid visiting the museum during the peak hours (from 11:00 to 14:00).


*  Lying at the city center and called Gu Gong in Chinese, it was the imperial palace for twenty-four emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was first built throughout 14 years during the reign of Emperor Chengzu  in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Ancient Chinese Astronomers believed that the Purple Star (Polaris) was in the center of heaven and the Heavenly Emperor lived in the Purple Palace. The Palace for the emperor on earth was so called the Purple City. It was forbidden to enter without special permission of the empeor. Hence its name 'The Purple Forbidden City', usually 'The Forbidden City' .


2.Tianamen Tower.
*  Located at the center of Beijing City is the remarkable Tiananmen Square, where you can visit the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and see the national flag raising ceremony. Thousands of people come to the Square every day. It is the must place to visit in Beijing City.

 Tiananmen Tower At the north end of the Square is Tiananmen Tower. Initially built in 1417 during the Ming Dynasty (1368 A.D.- 1644 A.D.), the Square was the front door of the Forbidden City.
* The most important use of it in the past was to declare in a big ceremony to the common people who became the emperor and who became the empress. Until 1911 when the last feudal kingdom was over, no one could enter the Tower except for the royal family and aristocrats.
 3.Chengdu Attraction's

*  A two-thousand-year history leaves Chengdu with numerous historical places of interest. Fertile lands and a favorable climate endow the city with picturesque surrounding scenic landscapes .


Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center Located just 6 miles (10 km) away from downtown Chengdu, this is the most convenient place for visitors to see the giant pandas at a close range. Apart from this center, the Bifeng Gorge Panda Base in Ya'an, 100 miles (160 km) from Chengdu is also an ideal choice to see this cute black-and-white creature. The pandas in the former Wolong Panda Reserve had been moved here after the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008.

4.Jiuzhaigou

* It's 400 kilometers away from Chengdu lies a fairyland whose natural and primitive beauty impresses everyone who visits here. Jiuzhaigou with its heaven-bestowed landscape, precious animals, plants and the special local flavor of the Tibetan People, deserves the first recommendation for a neighborhood tour of Chengdu.











5.Chongqing Attraction's

* Renowned as the Mountain City, Chongqing attracts visitors from home and abroad for its cultural heritage and tourist attractions. Its landform is uneven and the buildings there distribute in an intriguing way. In Chongqing, there are many karst caves, hot springs and gorges. Picturesque landscapes are so enchanting as to make tourists forget to return .

General Joseph Warren Stilwell (1883-1946) was chief commander of US forces in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World War II. In 1942, ranked as a major general, he was dispatched to CBI and was regarded as the best field commander in the entire United States Army. General Stilwell was a true friend of the Chinese people as well as a Chinese linguist.










Guangzhou Attractions 


** Guangzhou is one of the twenty-four famous historical and cultural cities in China. It does not, however, have the amount of cultural attractions found in some cities such as Beijing and Xian.Here is a brief introduction to the tourist sights in the city.  Yuexiu Park,the largest park in the city, gets its name from Yuexiu Mountain, which is located in the park. Yuexiu Park is famous for its beautiful scenery and its large number of historical relics such as the Five-Ram Sculpture, Zhenhai Tower, the site of the Ming Dynasty City Wall, and the Square Cannon Site. You can get to the park by taking bus No. 2, 5, 6, 10, 58, or 101.

 The Pearl River flows through Guangzhou City. At evening, taking a boat tour on the river to admire the breathtaking night view of the city is a great enjoyment. Stretching one's eyesight, visitors can see the gorgeous Canton Tower under dazzling lights abruping up to the sky .

 Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family
Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family is famous for its exquisite craftsmanship including wood, stone, and brick carving, and metalwork using copper and iron. There are also wonderful murals. As for the carving techniques,both realistic and imaginative styles were employed to give the temple a magnificent yet solemn atmosphere.

 Sun Yat-sen Memorial HallSun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is the most important relic in Guangdong Province. It was built for Dr. Sun Yat-sen after his death in 1925. It was completed in October of 1931.

 White Cloud Mountain (Baiyun Shan) is easy to reach. Take the public bus, No. 199, 233, 24,36, 285, or 540. Tourists can take a cable car to reach the top of the mountain. The entrance fee is CNY 5.

 Bright Filial Piety Temple (Guangxiao Si) located at Guangxiao Lu, is the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in the Lingnan Area. The Bright Filial Piety Temple plays an important role in Chinese Buddhism history because many famous Buddhist monks came here to preach religious doctrines, bringing glory to this temple.

 

Shanghai

** Shanghai, a vigorous and energetic international metropolis, welcomes people from all over the world to enjoy its special atmosphere. This modern metropolis with its rich heritage of ancient Chinese culture has much to see and do.

 

** The Huangpu, formerly romanized as Whangpoo, is a 113 kilometres-long river flowing through Shanghai, China that was first excavated and created by Lord Chunshen, one of the Four Lords of the Warring States during the Warring States Period.

  Yuyuan Garden
** Yuyuan Garden is the largest of Shanghai's ancient gardens with Ming and Qing architectural styles. The garden has six areas, each with its own style. The Grand Rockery, in the center of the Garden, is the most renowned sight. Near the garden, there is the Old City God Temple, where various of local snack shops and streets are scattered around.

 


** It is one of the most famous Buddhist shrines in Shanghai. The White Jade Buddhas were brought here from Burma in the nineteenth century. One is seated while the other is in the recumbent position of Sakyamuni symbolizing the Buddha's attainment of enlightenment or nirvana.
** The temple also has some impressive images of the Heavenly Kings. Although many people come to worship each dayand burn incense at this very holy and active shrine, visitors are welcome.

*    The amazing Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium, the exciting Peak Explorer Motion Simulator, and relaxing terraces and restaurants are among the favorite stops at this entertainment center. Another favorite attraction is the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum with figures of celebrities including local movie star Jackie Chan. Additionally, on the northern hillside of the Peak, you can see the Zoological and Botanical Garden.
